Call for DC Applications

ICCBR-25 Doctoral Consortium (DC)

  • DC submission deadline: 14 April 2025
  • DC date: 30 June, 2025

The 17th Annual ICCBR Doctoral Consortium (DC) will be held at ICCBR 2025 in Biarritz, France.  The DC is designed to nurture Ph.D. candidates by providing opportunities for mentorship and peer feedback on their research, future work plans, and career objectives, through interaction with senior CBR researchers, practitioners, and peers, as well as the opportunity to publish a research summary in the DC proceedings.  We plan for the DC program to include student presentations with discussion, invited talks or panels from senior CBR researchers or practitioners, and additional social activities to encourage further conversations with mentors and fellow students and develop a doctoral student cohort.  Before the DC sessions on 30 June, participants will be invited to an opening gathering 29 June, 2025.

SUBMISSIONS

We welcome applications from doctoral students worldwide pursuing research on case-based reasoning or applying CBR in their research. Applications for full participation include a cover letter, brief research summary (5 pages max in LNCS format), CV, and advisor recommendation.  To apply please follow the detailed instructions.

We will have a video meeting on 10 March, 2025 to go over the submission process process and answer questions about the DC.   The time will be set to accommodate participant time zones.  To express interest in participating in the meeting and/or to be added to a mailing list for future DC announcements, please enter your information in the mailing list form.
